Clarion Z3 Full Digital Sound Processor with Control Device and Pair of Tweeters

Processor with robust and appealing design, minimal body texture and modern with thin finish. The matte black body is distinguished by a thin finish and gives the processor the modern look that characterizes the Clarion Full Digital Sound system. The compact chassis takes up minimal space and can be easily installed under the seat or in other confined spaces.

The Z3 (audio processor) is equipped with a USB port for connecting to a smartphone or tablet via USB cable to play high-resolution audio content stored on an iOS® and Android™ smartphone or tune it via a tablet. Clarion Full Digital Sound Innovation

Full Digital Sound technology is able to transfer the signal from the source to the speakers in a completely digital way, thus reproducing high-resolution files without degrading the audio. Furthermore, because it converts digital signals to audio extremely efficiently, the system is able to offer four times the power output of a traditional fully digital system, while achieving reduced power consumption that is only about 1/5 that of analog systems.

  • Dual neodymium magnet with high response
  • By positioning the two neodymium magnets, one above and one below the tweeter plate, the superior level magnetic flux density of neodymium creates a high-density magnetic void to provide rapid response and stable activation.
  • Tweeter with pure soft silk dome for rich mid-high range
  • Clear reproduction of high tones up to 40 kHz and powerful vocal lines is possible thanks to this wide bandwidth tweeter. Paired with the Z7 at the front allows high-range reproduction of high-resolution audio sources. In addition to reproducing an extremely resonant high range, it offers a powerful presence mid-range, as well as natural vocal lines.
  • The tweeter can be mounted on the dashboard or installed flush in the door by modifying its trim.

Control Device Functions

Control device with intuitive interface for precise adjustment of delicate sounds. The large volume knob provides the feel of a high-performance home audio system and ensures superior ease of use, intuitive and linear volume control and other functions. The black body and thin finish contribute to creating a robust and quality structure. Furthermore, the contrast between the metallic texture of the volume knob and the body with thin finish creates an elegant appearance that will never tire you. Sound Restorer allows high-quality reproduction of compressed audio, while Reverb Control helps create a more natural surround audio experience. You can choose advanced acoustic technologies like these based on the music genre or media device in use. Turn the volume knob to change the menu display.
