Alpine SPR-50C - 5-1/4" (13cm) 2-WAY SEPARATE SPEAKER

The Type-R Speakers are designed to handle exceptional power while maintaining extreme clarity and entirely thrilling sound.

The Type-R series of which the SPR-50C kit is part includes both coaxial and separate models, both are highly efficient and offer wide installation possibilities in the various vehicles present on the market.

Incredibly Powerful Bass

Using some of the technologies of Type-R subwoofers, such as HAMR Surround, for very long cone excursion while maintaining maximum control, these speakers offer deep and powerful bass.

Superb Sound Quality

Type-R speakers use quality components and advanced technical solutions, such as the light and robust multi-layer cone, Linear Drive magnet and Dual Gap voice coil that guarantee maximum linearity for excellent sound quality.

Compact, to ease installation

Thanks to the neodymium magnet, powerful but of reduced dimensions, the small crossover and the small basket, type-R speakers are much more compact than you might imagine, to be installed in most vehicles on the market.

The wave guides concentrate the sound

Alpine has developed a special wave guide for the cone that further improves sound quality. Mounted above the central dome, it prevents distortion of sound waves from the diaphragm and concentrates the sound to obtain maximum clarity (only for SPR-60C / 50C)

Swivel Tweeter

Both Separate and coaxial models have a swivel ring tweeter, to improve performance even in non-ideal positions. You can point it manually in the desired direction to obtain the best possible sound image.

Ultracompact Crossover Design

The Crossover is 75% smaller than previous models, to simplify installation in door panels. It provides four levels of tweeter adjustment to help you achieve the best balance between tweeter and woofer.
