Hertz ESK 163L.5 3-way kit new energy series consisting of 2 tweeters ET 26.5 + 2 midrange EMV 100.5 + 2 woofers EV 165l.5 + 2 crossovers + 4 grilles and mounting accessories.

The best sound in the smallest space possible. ESK 163L.5 is a three-way system that integrates four components, ET 26.5, EMV 100.5, EV 165L.5 and CX 300.5, creating a combination of highly performing and technologically advanced products.

The Energy.5 line enhances the innovations introduced in the version four and becomes even more installable, even in series pre-prepared installations, and more performing. Each Energy.5 component has been developed with the objective of optimizing installation sizes: careful study of the profile of woofers and coaxials has led, in the former, to baskets and motor groups more compact, and in the latter, to an alignment between the height of the tweeter and that of the woofer surround, reducing those thicknesses that although minimal inside a door become fundamental.

ET 26.5
1. Tetolan dome with hemispherical profile and wide-apex surround; extremely light and acoustically well insulated for a soft and extended frequency response in the high frequencies.
2. Acoustic compression chamber, to achieve maximum efficiency and optimal off-axis dispersion.
3. Ultra-light voice coil cooled with ferrofluid in CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminium Wire).
4. High energy neodymium magnet.
5. Low carbon pole plates for maximum magnetic permeability and high heat dissipation.
6. Sound-absorbing material, for the control of acoustic resonances, ensures clear tones in the high frequencies.


EMV 100.5
1. V-cone® for the best off-axis response and detail in the mid-high range.
2. Cone in water-repellent treated cellulose fiber; butylic rubber suspensions.
3. Voice coil in pure copper, wound on aluminum support, for exceptional thermal and mechanical capacity.
4. Oversized magnetic group for energetic control of the moving equipment.
5. Low carbon pole plates for maximum magnetic permeability and high heat dissipation.
6. Magnet coated in rubber, to ensure mechanical damping of the basket and motor group, and protect it from possible abrasion and damage.
7. Basket to DIN standards, coated with protective material against abrasion and corrosion.
8. High current terminals, tin-plated.
9. Silver-plated braids for maximum reliability and conductivity.
10. Basket-motor group coupling in epoxy adhesive.
11. Memory Nomex spider, for constant and reliable performance.


EV 165L.5
