The subwoofers of the new Energy.5 line have been designed to express maximum performance in boxes of reduced displacement.

Their electroacoustic parameters are optimized for correct operation in any type of enclosure (acoustic suspension, bass reflex, bandpass, etc), ensuring extraordinary versatility and highest quality performance.

The use of a moving assembly with long throw and double magnet with high flux intensity has made it possible to create components capable of withstanding high power, with extraordinary musicality combined with explosive dynamics.
Anti-scratch paint finishes and a butyl rubber ring offer reliable protection along with a modern and aggressive look.

FEATURES

  • 1. V-cone® technology with pressed cellulose membrane and water-repellent treatment, for reduction of moving mass and increased sensitivity.
  • 2. Spider with wide-wave geometry with high mechanical resistance to impulsive stress, made of resin-impregnated interlaced fibers for parameter stability over time.
  • 3. Suspensions in pressed high-density polyurethane, for extreme mechanical and acoustic linearity even at high excursion.
  • 4. Voice coil in pure copper, wound on aluminum support, combined with the heat dissipation circuit of the spider support and ventilation holes on the magnet, for exceptional thermal capacity at power peaks.
  • 5. Silver-plated braided leads with silicon shielding terminated on high-current tin-plated connectors, for high resistance to mechanical stress and low contact resistance.
  • 6. Polar plates with high magnetic permeability combined with an oversized magnet, guarantee continuous and constant magnetic flux, for perfect control at low frequencies.
  • 7. Gasket and protective shell of the magnet in butyl rubber, for ideal coupling with the mounting surface and damping of basket resonances.
