Thanks to a sophisticated cooling system that ventilates the voice coil through the pole plate, the new ZSPL12D2 Bolide is able to handle up to 1,200 watts in the musical range effortlessly. The subwoofer is able to handle short bursts up to 1,800 watts without any problems. The dual 64 mm voice coil with impedance of 2 + 2 ohm, above average for this price range, has a remarkable winding length of 38 millimeters and is driven by a powerful dual magnet of 120 ounces. With a displacement of +/- 26 mm, the new ZEUS displaces a lot of air in front of the cone and "pushes" so hard as to leave you almost breathless.

The new ZEUS SPL Sub feels very much at home in a bass reflex cabinet. Starting from a volume of about 45 liters. It fits perfectly in boxes of 55-60 liters. At that point, it really deploys its qualities of raw bass.
