HIFONICS VRX800A active car subwoofer, maximum power 250 Watt

With the new VULCAN VRX models, HiFonics expands its range with powerful underseat subwoofers in 20 and 25 cm class with housing entirely in aluminum. These subwoofers convince not only for their interesting prices, but also for the high quality of processing and the complete equipment, appreciated by HiFonics fans around the world.

In many economical underseat subwoofers, cheap circuits are often used in the amplifier area or even cheap ICs. This is not the case with the two new HiFonics models. Both VULCAN VRX subwoofers are equipped with Class A/B MosFet power amplifiers, very stable at load and always able to deliver plenty of power. With 250 watts maximum in the 20 cm (8") model or 300 watts maximum in the 25 cm (10") model, they really heat up the special woofers.

The subwoofers are also equipped with particularly stable membranes to withstand the high pressures that occur in small enclosures due to air volume compression. Conventional basses with standard membranes would be completely unsuitable in this case and would burst. Thanks to the adjustable low-pass filter, bass boost, switchable phase and remote control for bass level, the connection to the system is almost perfect. Of course, both also have a high-level input with automatic turn-on, to ensure connection to factory radios without RCA output, for example.
