HIFONICS VRX1000A active car subwoofer, maximum power 300 Watts

With the new VULCAN VRX models, HiFonics expands its range with powerful under-seat subwoofers in 20 and 25 cm class with housing entirely in aluminum. These subwoofers not only convince with interesting prices, but also with high quality workmanship and complete equipment, appreciated by HiFonics fans all over the world.

In many economical under-seat subwoofers, cheap circuits are often used in the amplifier area or even cheap ICs. This is not the case with the two new HiFonics models. Both VULCAN VRX subwoofers are equipped with MosFet power amplifiers in Class A/B, very stable under load and always able to deliver plenty of power. With 250 watts maximum in the 20 cm (8") model or 300 watts maximum in the 25 cm (10") model, they really heat up the special woofers.

The subwoofers are also equipped with particularly stable membranes to withstand the high pressures that occur in small housings due to air volume compression. Conventional bass with standard membranes would be completely unsuitable in this case and would burst. Thanks to the adjustable low-pass filter, bass boost, switchable phase, and remote control for bass level, connection to the system is almost perfect. Of course, both also have a high-level input with automatic turn-on, to ensure connection to factory radios lacking RCA outputs, for example.
