MTX audio TX225T 25mm neodymium tweeter with silk dome 4Ohm 65W RMS

The MTX TX225T are 25mm 1" tweeters specialized in reproducing high frequencies. They are the tweeters of the MTX TX2 50S and TX265S separate speakers. They handle 65W RMS and 450W peak. They have an impedance of 4Ω to easily adapt to any amplifier (external or built into a head unit). Their reduced external diameter makes them easy to install anywhere: behind mirrors, on the dashboard or in the upper part of the doors. To get the best results, you need to position the tweeters as high as possible to have the highest stage possible.

Their sound quality is excellent. They reproduce many details with precision and add bite to music playback. Their large dome diameter allows for powerful sound with impact. The silk dome is the best solution for perfectly distributing the sound. From both sides of the car, each tweeter can be heard very well. To keep it small and maintain power handling we use ultra-powerful neodymium magnets. They are therefore easy to install. For filtering, two capacitors are provided. It is simple and efficient.

TX225T Features

  • These are the tweeters of the MTX TX250S and TX265S separate speakers sold separately
  • 25 mm tweeter (large diameter) for impact and power handling
  • Silk dome for softness and to reduce directivity (sounds good even if you're not right in front)
  • Ultra-powerful neodymium magnet for greater power handling and to stay small and easy to install
  • Passive X-over included: two capacitors for filtering, protecting and always staying musical
  • If installed behind mirrors or on the dashboard, they significantly increase the upgrade
