STP Biplast 25 is a thermoacoustic sound-absorbing material designed to reduce reflected noise and improve acoustic comfort inside the cabin. Unlike classic closed-cell insulators, Biplast uses a high-density open-cell polyurethane foam structure, designed to absorb sound waves instead of reflecting them. The high thickness of 25 mm makes it particularly effective in applications where it is necessary to address residual noise and internal acoustic reflections.

How a sound-absorbing material works

After reducing vibrations (anti-vibration materials) and thermally and acoustically insulating (closed cells) there remains reflected noise inside the cabin. STP Biplast 25 acts precisely at this level:

absorbs sound waves
reduces reverberation and reflections
improves the perceived sound quality
contributes to a more controlled acoustic environment

The open-cell structure allows to "trap" sound energy by converting it into heat, thus reducing the perceived noise level.

Recommended applications

Thanks to the high thickness, it is suitable for areas with sufficient space. Typical applications:

Installation and use

Recommended procedure:

apply anti-vibration material first (if necessary)
ensure the surface is clean
cut the material into the desired shape
remove the adhesive film
apply with uniform pressure

helps eliminate secondary vibrations and squeaks
