Alpine SPC-106T61-2 2-way speaker system 6½" / 16.5 cm for Volkswagen T6.1

SPC-106T61-2: the second generation with an even more powerful design

Upgrade your Volkswagen T6.1 with the new high-end SPC-106T61-2 speaker system.

The second generation of SPC-106T61 has been updated with several technical improvements to deliver an even more impressive sound experience. The new High-Amplitude Multi-Roll (H.A.M.R.) surround allows for greater cone excursion, with more accurate bass reproduction. Additionally, the vented pole structure improves motor cooling by efficiently dissipating hot air. This allows the speaker to handle higher power levels for extended periods without sound degradation.

Gold-plated blade terminals ensure optimal signal transmission and corrosion resistance, while the die-cast aluminum basket offers high rigidity and allows for larger magnets without deformation. This improvement has enabled us to equip the speakers with more powerful magnets while maintaining the same mounting depth. As a result, the SPC-106T61-2 delivers deeper bass, greater power, and increased component longevity.

This Alpine Adventure audio system for the Volkswagen T6.1 perfectly combines functionality with form: enjoy audiophile-quality sound, while the stunning photo-etched stainless steel tweeter grilles look simply gorgeous in your front door panels.

High-end tweeters allow you to hear every note with stunning clarity and fast dynamics, while the 16.5 cm speakers for midrange frequencies produce a wide frequency range that reveals the rich details of every audio track, delivering your favorite songs with powerful mid-bass and remarkable consistency and precision

Thanks to original VW connectors and the use of original wiring, installation is easy and quick. The system is also compatible with the front sun shades of the VW T6.1 California and can be further upgraded to the Concert Ensemble with a powerful 300 Watt subwoofer and a 6-channel DSP amplifier.
