Alpine R-Series speakers are tuned with an emphasis on high and low frequencies, so as to deliver power and produce an active and brilliant sound. They are the perfect match in terms of power and performance for R-Series subwoofers and amplifiers.

The new 2022 R-Series speakers are all Hi-Res Audio certified and have a frequency response up to 40 kHz. For the first time, the R-Series line includes a 3-way system and you can choose between a Professional and a Standard speaker line. The legendary Alpine R-Series speakers enter their third generation and are designed with innovative materials to offer greater performance and simply extraordinary sound. You can choose between a line of professional speakers and a line of standard speakers to suit your desired sound quality and budget.

The R2-S653 system is the top of the line of the new 2022 R-Series speaker lineup. It is equipped with a 16.5 cm ported woofer, a 9.6 cm midrange and a 4.3 cm tweeter with frequency response up to 40 kHz.

The ported woofer and midrange are equipped with brand new cones reinforced with fiberglass. This material is very rigid and extremely light, and ensures a super-fast response and extremely accurate musical reproduction.

The brand new hard dome tweeters in magnesium offer clear and detailed musical reproduction and reproduce up to 40 kHz (Hi-Res Audio). You can choose to mount them flush in their threaded housing (for example in a door panel) or use the supplied dashboard brackets. The tweeters can be oriented in their housing to point directly at the listening point.
