The new 2022 R Series speakers are all Hi-Res Audio certified and have a frequency response up to 40 kHz.

The legendary Alpine R Series speakers enter their third generation and are designed with innovative materials to offer greater performance and simply extraordinary sound. You can choose between a line of professional speakers and a line of standard speakers to suit your desired sound quality and budget.

The R2-S652 model is the PRO 2-way model of the new 2022 R Series speaker range. It is equipped with a 16.5 cm ported woofer and a 4.3 cm tweeter with frequency response up to 40 kHz.

Cone Reinforced with Fiberglass
The woofer is equipped with brand new fiberglass-reinforced cones. This material is very rigid and extremely lightweight, and guarantees super-fast response and extremely accurate music reproduction.

Aluminum Diecast Basket and Large Magnets
The PRO models (R2-S635 and R2-S652) are equipped with high-quality aluminum baskets, which guarantee high rigidity and can carry heavier magnets without warping. This allowed our engineers to insert larger magnets compared to previous generations (while maintaining the same mounting depth).

Hard Dome Tweeter with Hi-Res Audio Certification
The brand new magnesium hard dome tweeters offer clear and detailed music reproduction and reproduce up to 40 kHz (Hi-Res Audio). You can choose to mount them flush in their threaded housing (for example in a door panel) or use the included dashboard brackets. The tweeters can be angled in their housing to point directly at the listening point.

Tweeter Easy to Mount in OEM Positions
Simply remove the installation frame and the R Series tweeter trim ring to minimize overall size and diameter. The tweeter itself is small enough to be placed in many OEM tweeter positions (inside A-pillars, mirror triangles or door panels), for discreet installation.

Flexible X-Over
This large crossover filter includes many high-quality components selected to ensure the best sound quality. You can adjust the midrange speaker level by -3dB / 0dB / +3dB and the tweeter level by -3dB / 0dB / +3dB.

HAMR Surround
Alpine's HAMR Surround (High-Amplitude Multi-Roll) system allows you to achieve maximum cone excursion while maintaining excellent control. This results in strong bass at high volume without distortion.

New Grilles
The new speaker grilles with hexagonal design have a very aggressive look and do not increase the overall installation diameter of the speakers.
