Alpine R-S65 pair of 165mm two-way coaxial speakers, are the new model of the R Series and the evolution of the previous SPR-60

New generation of speakers from the R-Series: designed to deliver powerful bass and precise highs, while maintaining extremely clear sound. The Alpine R-S65 have a rated power of 100 Watts, and a maximum power that reaches 300 Watts, with a frequency response of 65 Hz - 29 kHz.

R-S65 is characterized by high efficiency that makes it an extremely high-quality speaker, aimed especially at the most demanding audiophiles, who do not like compromises in terms of sound quality.

Main features of the Alpine R-S65

The High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround guarantees maximum cone excursion for unique SPL performance, while maintaining full control of the diaphragm at any excursion stage for extraordinary levels of sound clarity.

Alpine uses high-power neodymium magnets for the new R Series speakers. This means that the magnet can be much smaller compared to traditional speaker design, ensuring much lower levels of mounting depth and space inside the doors.

The new voice coil of the R-S65 is made of aluminum, compared to normal copper coils. The advantage is superior clarity, especially in the frequency area. These coaxials have a tweeter with a ring that orients to improve off-axis response in the case of complex installations. It can be oriented by hand according to acoustic performance and design needs. The separate tweeter (R-S65C only) can be installed externally or in the factory location - in both cases adapters are included.

A metal grille is included to protect the woofer in case of open installations.

To facilitate installation in multiple vehicles, a trim ring and a 6x8" adapter have been included.
