Alpine R-S65.2 coaxial pair two-way speakers of the second generation of the R series speakers: rich in improvements for better sound quality and bass performance.

Coaxial speakers of the R series are the perfect combination of power and performance for R series subwoofers and amplifiers.

HAMR Surround

The high amplitude Multi Roll (HAMR) allows maximum linear excursion for a high SPL value, while maintaining full control of the diaphragm excursion at any stage for high sound clarity.

CFRP Cone

CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer) is a very light but rigid material. Since CFRP material is directional, it can be manipulated during the molding process to strengthen normally weak areas of the cone. The result is rigidity throughout the cone that offers accurate and efficient performance.

Hi-res tweeter audio

The R series second generation tweeters are equipped with Hi-Res Audio functionality with a frequency response of over 40kHz. The tweeter cones are built from CFRP, allowing the reproduction of very high frequencies, above 40kHz, while maintaining a soft and balanced sound.

Exceptional clarity

The new voice coil is aluminum, compared to normal copper coils the diameter has been increased from 30 mm to 35 mm: the advantage is greater clarity, especially in the mid-high frequency area and more powerful bass reproduction.

Rotatable tweeter

Directional ring tweeter to improve off-axis response in non-ideal positions. You can aim by hand for the best soundstaging in the listening position.

The package includes a metal grille to protect the woofer in open installations.

The included installation adapters allow easy installation in a wide range of vehicles and door speaker brackets.
