Compared to original Mercedes speakers, the improvement is clearly noticeable and ensures relaxation on every trip. The lightweight ESX drivers for midrange-bass with ABS baskets fit perfectly into the original door openings without needing additional adapter rings. The 16 cm woofers offer powerful bass down to 50 Hz.

The baskets are equipped with integrated connectors to accommodate the speaker connectors factory-mounted in the vehicle. With a surprising efficiency of 93dB/2.83V/1m and a load impedance of 3 ohms, the 2-way ESX Quantum component set is a feast for the eyes.

The center speaker has the same high-quality reinforced fiber membrane as the woofer and, compared to the original center speaker, has significantly improved voice reproduction in the midrange, particularly important for speech and singing. Of course, the ESX center speaker is equipped with the SOS function built into the vehicle. In the high frequency range, 25 mm neodymium tweeters with silk dome are used. They sound very clean and with high resolution up to 24,000 Hz. Integrated in the connecting cable is a 6 dB crossover that ensures very clean separation at 3500 Hz.
