ESX QX12BXA 30 cm (12") active downfire subwoofer system

With their extremely compact dimensions, ESX presents two new active subwoofers with downward emission that prove to be true space-savers. But their compact design is deceptive: thanks to high-quality components such as the new high-end QXP subwoofers and powerful 460-watt Class D bass modules, they deliver highest-level performance and effortlessly handle even the deepest bass attacks.

Their substantial weight alone demonstrates that no compromises were made. The flat but solid MDF cabinets, with additional internal bracing, are extremely robust and effectively suppress unwanted resonances. A particularly practical feature: thanks to removable feet, the speakers can be perfectly integrated into the raised floors of car trunks.

ESX speakers use the new and revolutionary flat QXP subwoofers: thin, high-performance drivers that have no equal. With an impressive Xmax of ±20 mm, they offer a dynamic range and bass power that is hardly imaginable in this form factor. The massive die-cast aluminum baskets and powerful dual magnets ensure maximum stability and perfect cone control. The result: clean, precise and deep bass reproduction.

Powerful Class D amplifier

Inside the high-end QXP enclosures is housed the award-winning POWER4 active module in Class D, which offers ample power reserves with a peak power of 1000 watts at 4 ohm. The module features sophisticated input circuits: thanks to the high-level "EPS PRO" input developed by ESX, the module is fully compatible with modern vehicles and their sensitive diagnostic systems. The module makes no compromises in its features either: adjustable subsonic and low-pass filters, bass boost and a phase switch allow precise adjustment of the bass response. Signal input is available via RCA connectors or high-level inputs. For maximum convenience, the bass level remote control included in the package allows you to conveniently adjust the bass level from the driver's seat at any time.
