PS300-12: Rockford's first powered subwoofer enclosure.

Construction and performance worthy of the long list of subwoofers from the American company, with the advantage of a dedicated working volume and amplifier.

PS300-12, where the acronym indicates the power of the integrated electronics and the diameter in inches of the speaker used: respectively, therefore, 300 watts for a 30 centimeter speaker. A product with particular construction care that reflects all of Rockford's quality parameters.

Starting with the enclosure itself which is not a classic square parallelepiped in MDF, but is made of ABS with a particular shape and with a robustness that makes it practically indestructible. In front of the woofer a panel has been applied that has at least three roles: it is a highly effective mechanical protection system for the speaker, it functions as a fixed and well-defined acoustic load unaffected by positioning and creates a true low-pass filter.

A structure that allows you to install the subwoofer both horizontally and vertically, without having to worry about the inclination of the speaker relative to the cabin. To further intervene on the frequency response it is possible to connect to the PS300-12 the PEQ equalizer available as an option. What is instead integrated is the 300 watt amplifier: not a small power module as similar solutions often provide, but a true Class A/B final amplifier "made in Rockford" with P.O.W.E.R technology (Power Output Without Excessive Regulation).

High and low level inputs are present to be able to use the system both directly with the line outputs and those of the speakers of the factory sources. Available exclusively in black.
