Acoustic Behavior:

Balanced and natural, the tonal quality remains coherent across the entire range, never exceeding, despite extraordinary airiness. Fast and responsive both with "modern" music programs and in reproducing the myriad of details in jazz and classical music. The microfiber cone, extremely lightweight, responds without hesitation even to the slightest excitation, revealing subtle details almost like a pure midrange. The low range indeed has nothing to envy compared to that of larger diameters: full, round and incisive especially when installed in defined volumes.

Installation Advice:

The MWN 130 is perfect for three-way Sound-Quality installations, especially when paired with a woofer with great punch like the WF165. Thanks to the exponential geometry of the membrane and the phase plug, it does not suffer in off-axis installations, on the contrary, it ensures linearty of response to the extremes of the polar field, minimizing filter corrections. It has characteristics that guarantee exemplary performance both in the door and in "unusual" positions such as pillars or dashboard. We tested it in a car (and in a listening room) in the reflex configuration at 7 lt @ 68 Hz and the result is astounding: using it only with a small tweeter it delivers High-End speaker performance. In passive: we recommend High-Pass 12 dB@120Hz Low-Pass 6/12dB @ 6000Hz. To achieve the best possible result we recommend the dedicated X2-01 Proaudio filter.
