The structure of the MW-SM5.0 is simple, yet extremely effective in terms of insulation and damping.

Basically, a self-adhesive butyl layer 2 mm thick is used here, which prevents the resonance of metal or plastic parts. A thin aluminum foil provides the necessary stability. Furthermore, above the aluminum layer is a 3 mm thick foam layer, which dampens unwanted sound waves. In this way, the sound coming from the back is effectively dampened and not reflected, that is, the sound waves that would otherwise be produced do not "hinder" the speaker in its work.
