With the MATRIX ML80 PRO, BRAX takes midrange reproduction to a completely new level. As a completely redesigned successor to the MATRIX ML3, it carries forward the same uncompromising philosophy, but with an entirely new concept, cutting-edge materials, and meticulous attention to detail. The result is a midrange speaker that reproduces music with absolute purity, dynamics, and emotional depth.

Multi-layer Carbon Fabric Cone: Lightweight, Rigid, and Resonance-Free

The newly conceived multi-layer carbon fabric cone of the ML80 PRO model was designed and manufactured in close collaboration with renowned expert Dr. Kurt Müller. Its carbon layer structure combines extreme rigidity with minimal mass, effectively reducing unwanted resonances.

A specially shaped reinforcement collar on the rear - right at the transition with the surround - significantly increases torsional rigidity and prevents deformation even at high excursion levels. The straight cone geometry at the voice coil area optimizes power transfer and ensures exceptionally precise and controlled sound radiation.

The fine-weave front coating with closed-pore surface gives the cone an elegant, silk-like matte appearance with a refined tactile feel, while ensuring maximum dimensional stability and long-term durability.
