Brax Matrix ML10 Subwoofer high-end 10 inch with dual voice coil 2 x 2 Ohm

The legendary BRAX MATRIX speaker series, for many years synonymous with cutting-edge sound quality, is now completed with the ML10 SUB. Developed and produced without compromises like all BRAX speakers, this subwoofer is the acoustic reference point to measure up to. Thanks to the use of the new dual voice coil 2 x 2 Ohm, the ML10 SUB subwoofer allows for extremely flexible connection configurations and thus achieves an extremely clean and maximally controlled bass reproduction, like never before.

The separate voice coils with four massive connection terminals allow three different configurations: 1 x 4 Ohm, 2 x 2 Ohm or 1 x 1 Ohm with extraordinary power handling up to 1,200 Watt. One of the secrets of the BRAX ML10 SUB lies in its unique cone, more precisely in its "MicroSphere" coating. This coating gives the hand-carved cone the highest level of acoustic precision for an incomparable reproduction. This patented technology incorporates hollow ceramic spheres with a diameter of just 75 µm in a polyamide layer applied to the cone. This special coating not only improves rigidity, but also the internal damping of the cone.

However, these stabilization measures do not increase the moving mass. Compared to other car hifi subwoofers, the cone is even lighter, which not only results in a lower total Q factor, but further improves the impulse response. Every BRAX product stands out for its puristic design and perfect workmanship in every detail - and of course the BRAX ML10 SUB is no exception! The extremely linear drive of the magnet with precisely machined pole plates for minimum distortion, the large and multi-ventilated voice coil for maximum electrical power handling and the aerodynamically optimized and stable die-cast basket guarantee uncompromised bass reproduction at the highest levels. Of course, the ML10 SUB comes in a noble wooden box with its own serial number, which is registered in a service database.
