Brax martix ML 3 pair of 80mm conical midrange drivers handcrafted in Germany with the most advanced technology and the finest materials

When these drivers are implemented as part of a fully active audio system, it becomes clear that they are something perfect. When this happens, the ML3 drivers are a powerful force that is hard to do without. Their extraordinary sound and output capabilities are to be expected from a product that bears the BRAX name.

The design signals high quality; selected "made in Germany" components guarantee the best functionality and clean sound reproduction. The aerodynamically shaped die-cast aluminum basket ensures ideal voice coil ventilation and a low-reflection rubber surround ensures unrivaled smooth high-frequency roll-off. The very rigid and lightweight paper cone with its revolutionary "Microsphere" coating provides further contribution to quality and reliability. This patented technology incorporates hollow ceramic spheres with a diameter of only 75 μm into a polyamide layer applied to the cone. The special coating not only improves cone rigidity but also internal damping. However, this unique stabilization does not increase weight but ensures lightness and a low total Q factor and excellent precision in sound reproduction.

To meet high quality requirements and to achieve perfect tonal interaction, each set of drivers is selected and matched by hand based on its acoustic parameters. Only after the selection process does each set of drivers receive its unique serial number registered in our service database. Once packaged in a precious wooden box, it is now complete and ready for shipment and this once again underscores BRAX's high-level philosophy.

An optional stainless steel mounting ring set with grille (MR3) is also available. The solid stainless steel ring can be used as a mounting ring or grill support ring depending on the mounting position.
