EV 165L.5 provides extreme control over sound reproduction, guaranteed by the use of an oversized motor and a cone with V-cone® profile stiffened with deep reinforcements.
The basket complying with DIN standards, the low-profile surround and compact dimensions make them easy to install in any standard system. The protective ring on the magnet in natural rubber performs an important anti-corrosion and anti-scratch function, and ensures acoustic damping of the basket and motor system.


In the EV 165L.5, the cone is made with an original uncompressed cellulose compound that allows to obtain an extremely powerful and full-bodied bass range, even in the absence of a subwoofer.

2. Cellulose fiber cone with water-repellent treatment, for dynamic, deep and controlled bass.
3. Voice coil in pure copper, wound on aluminum support, for exceptional thermal and mechanical capacity.
4. Oversized magnetic assembly for energetic control of the moving parts.
5. Low-carbon pole plates for maximum magnetic permeability and high heat dissipation.
6. Magnet coated in rubber, to ensure mechanical damping of the basket and motor assembly, and protect it from possible abrasion and damage.
7. Basket complying with DIN standards, coated with protective anti-abrasion and anti-scratch material.
8. High current terminals, tin-plated.
9. Silver-plated stranded wire, for maximum reliability and conductivity.
10. Basket-motor assembly coupling in epoxy glue.
11. Nomex spider with memory shape, for constant and reliable performance.
