Hertz ESK 165L.5 2-way kit new energy series composed of 2 tweeters ET 26.5 + 2 woofers EV 165L.5 + 2 crossovers + 2 grilles and mounting accessories.

A mix of components developed to deliver a deep and full sound, the ESK 165L.5 system is composed of the exclusive tweeter ET 26.5, the woofer EV 165L.5 and the specific crossover CX 200.5 (see the measurements of individual products in the attached technical data sheet).

Excellent frequency response, wide installability even in pre-installations, efficiency and appealing design: the Energy.5 systems fully summarize and embody the sound philosophy of the Energy line. Pure energy for listening.

The Energy.5 line enhances the innovations introduced in the four version and becomes even more installable, even in factory pre-installations, and more performing.

Each Energy.5 component has been developed with the objective of optimizing installation dimensions: a careful study on the profile of the woofers and coaxials led, in the former, to baskets and motor assemblies more compact, and in the latter, to an alignment between the height of the tweeter and that of the woofer surround, reducing those thicknesses that although minimal inside a car door become fundamental.

ET 26.5
1. Tetolin dome with hemispherical profile and wide vault surround; extremely light and acoustically well isolated for a soft and extended frequency response in the high frequencies.
2. Acoustic compression chamber, to achieve maximum efficiency and optimal off-axis dispersion.
3. Ultra-light voice coil cooled with ferrofluids in CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminium Wire).
4. High energy neodymium magnet.
5. Low carbon pole plates for maximum magnetic permeability and high thermal dissipation.
6. Sound-absorbing material, for the control of acoustic resonances, guarantees clear tones in the high frequencies.

EV 165L.5
1. V-cone® for the best off-axis response and detail in the mid-high range.
2. Cellulose fiber cone with water-repellent treatment, for a dynamic, deep and controlled bass.
3. Pure copper voice coil, wound on aluminum support, for exceptional thermal and mechanical capacity.
4. Oversized magnetic assembly for energetic control of the mobile equipment.
5. Low carbon pole plates for maximum magnetic permeability and high thermal dissipation.
6. Rubber-coated magnet, to ensure mechanical damping of the basket and motor assembly, and protect it from possible abrasion and damage.
7. DIN standard basket, coated with anti-abrasion and anti-scratch protective material.
8. High current terminals, tin-plated.
9. Silver-plated strands, for maximum reliability and conductivity.
10. Basket-motor assembly coupling in epoxy glue.
11. Nomex spider with shape memory, for constant and reliable performance.
