The subwoofers of the new Energy.5 line have been designed to deliver maximum performance in enclosures with reduced cubic footage.

Their electro-acoustic parameters are optimized for correct operation in any type of enclosure (sealed, bass reflex, bandpass, etc), ensuring extraordinary versatility and highest quality performance.

The use of a long-throw voice coil assembly and dual high-flux intensity magnet has made it possible to create components capable of handling high power levels, with extraordinary musicality combined with explosive dynamics.
Anti-scratch paint finishes and a butyl rubber surround provide reliable protection along with a modern and aggressive look.

FEATURES

  • 1. V-cone® technology with pressed cellulose cone and water-repellent treatment, for reduction of moving mass and increased sensitivity.
  • 2. Spider with wide-wave geometry with high mechanical resistance to impulsive stress, made from resin-impregnated interwoven fibers for parameter consistency over time.
  • 3. Pressed high-density polyurethane surrounds, for extreme mechanical and acoustic linearity even at high excursion.
  • 4. Pure copper voice coil, wound on aluminum support, connected to the heat dissipation circuit of the spider support and ventilation holes in the magnet, for exceptional thermal capacity at power peaks
  • 5. Silver-plated braided leads with silicone shielding terminated on high-current tin-plated connectors, for high resistance to mechanical stress and low contact resistance.
  • 6. Dual voice coil configuration, for optimization of amplifier power output and greater connection versatility.
  • 7. High magnetic permeability pole plates combined with an oversized magnet, guarantee continuous and constant magnetic flux, for perfect control at low frequencies.
  • 8. Butyl rubber gasket and magnet protective shell, for ideal coupling with the mounting surface and damping of basket resonances.
