100 mm Midwoofer Energy series - Max Power 120 W

EMV 100.5 is a very powerful midrange woofer.
This Energy.5 midwoofer can reproduce a very wide frequency range, from 80 Hz to 7.5 kHz, and with its reduced mounting depth (44 mm) it can be installed in minimal spaces.


The V-cone® technology allows for extraordinary off-axis response and high sensitivity to details in the midrange. The oversized ferrite magnet in neodymium optimally controls the movement of the voice coil assembly and allows for high efficiency; a rubber cover protects it from possible abrasion and damage, and ensures mechanical damping of the basket and motor assembly.

FEATURES

1. V-cone® for best off-axis response and detail in the midrange.
2. Cone in water-repellent treated cellulose fiber; suspensions in butyl rubber.
3. Voice coil in pure copper, wound on aluminum support, for exceptional thermal and mechanical capacity.
4. Oversized magnetic assembly for energetic control of the voice coil assembly.
5. Polar plates with low carbon content, for maximum magnetic permeability and high thermal dissipation.
6. Magnet coated in rubber, to ensure mechanical damping of the basket and motor assembly, and protect it from possible abrasion and damage.
7. Basket to DIN standards, coated with protective material against abrasion and corrosion.
8. High current terminals, tin-plated.
9. Silver-plated strands for maximum reliability and conductivity.
10. Basket-motor assembly coupling in epoxy glue.
11. Spider in shape-memory Nomex, for consistent and reliable performance.
