Hertz ECX 690.5 pair of three-way coaxial speakers 165 mm of the new Energy series - Max Power 300 W

ECX 690.5 is a three-way coaxial, equipped with a dome tweeter with high energy magnet and a PEI supertweeter with integrated crossover, to offer maximum efficiency and high extension at high frequencies.


Oversized magnetic group and a rubber magnet cover allow energetic control of the moving part and mechanical damping of the basket and motor group, for smooth and undistorted acoustic emission.

The Energy.5 line enhances the innovations introduced in the four version and becomes even more installable, even in series provisions, and more performing.

Every Energy.5 component has been developed with the objective of optimizing installation dimensions: a careful study on the profile of the woofers and coaxials led, in the former, to baskets and more compact motor groups, and in the latter, to an alignment between the height of the tweeter and that of the woofer surround, reducing those thicknesses which although minimal inside a door become fundamental.


ECX 690.5 FEATURES

1. Cellulose fiber cone with water-repellent treatment; rubber butyl surround.
2. Voice coil in pure copper, wound on aluminum support, for exceptional thermal and mechanical capacity.
3. Oversized magnetic group for energetic control of the moving part.
4. Polar plates with low carbon content for maximum magnetic permeability and high heat dissipation.
5. Magnet coated in rubber, to ensure mechanical damping of the basket and motor group, and protect it from possible abrasions and damage.
6. Basket to DIN standards, coated with protective anti-abrasion and anti-scratch material.
7. High current terminals, tin-plated.
8. Silver braids, for maximum reliability and conductivity.
9. Basket-motor group coupling in epoxy glue.
10. Nomex spider with shape memory, for constant and reliable performance.
11. Dome tweeter with high energy magnet, combined with a mylar supertweeter, for better efficiency and high frequency extension.
