Dynamat En-Wall is an acoustic enclosure system designed for in-wall speakers, developed to create a controlled rear chamber within drywall cavities. Unlike traditional installations, where the speaker works in an open and undefined cavity, En-Wall allows you to achieve a stable and predictable acoustic volume, improving sound performance and reducing sound dispersion in the structure.


How an acoustic box for walls works and what it is for

When a speaker is installed directly in a wall without an enclosure, sound propagates within the wall cavity, causing:

  • loss of control over low frequencies
  • non-linear acoustic response
  • sound transmission to adjacent spaces

Dynamat En-Wall creates a closed acoustic chamber behind the speaker. This allows you to:

  • stabilize the speaker's working volume
  • improve frequency response
  • reduce sound dispersion in wall cavities
  • limit sound transmission between rooms

The result is a more predictable and controlled system, both in residential and professional settings.

When to use it, where to install it and how to apply it

En-Wall is designed for integrated audio installations in drywall or cavity wall structures. Typical applications:

  1. prepare the opening in the drywall
  2. insert the enclosure inside the wall cavity
  3. fix the system to the wall structure
  4. connect the audio wiring
  5. install the speaker in the designated hole

The box is designed to integrate with standard stud structures.

Available versions

Dynamat En-Wall is available in two variants, designed to adapt to different wall depths:

  • DYN50504 - 4" Version
    • for walls with reduced depth
    • ideal for compact installations
  • DYN50506 - 6" Version
    • for walls with greater depth
    • offers superior acoustic volume
    • better low frequency extension

The two versions share the same operating principle, but differ in internal volume and structural compatibility.
