DynaPad is a composite material designed for acoustic and thermal insulation of horizontal vehicle surfaces. Unlike vibration damping materials, it acts as a barrier against noise and heat coming from the road, engine and exhaust. The multilayer structure allows you to effectively reduce low frequencies and heat transfer through the floor pan, improving overall cabin comfort.

How a multilayer thermal-acoustic insulator works and what it is for

Low frequency noise (rolling, exhaust, structural vibrations) is the hardest to attenuate because it easily passes through surfaces.

DynaPad uses a four-layer composite structure:

central high-mass barrier (vinyl)
two layers of acoustic foam
protective surface layer
This system creates an effect:
absorption - barrier - absorption

which allows to:

block noise transmission (especially low frequencies)
attenuate rolling and exhaust noise
reduce heat transfer from the vehicle floor
improve internal acoustic comfort

Its effectiveness comes from the ability to create a physical separation between sound source and cabin.

When to use it, where to apply it and how to install it

DynaPad is designed mainly for applications on horizontal surfaces and areas in contact with the vehicle floor.
Typical applications:

cabin floor pan
trunk
firewall partition
vehicle and boat floors

It is particularly suitable when:

you want to reduce rolling noise
you want to insulate heat from the exhaust
you are making a complete soundproofing system

To achieve maximum performance, use above a damping layer (e.g. Dynamat Xtreme) is recommended.

Installation

The material can be easily cut and adapted to the surface.
Procedure:

remove any carpet or trim
clean the surface of dirt and residue
cut the panel to the desired shape
position it on the floor pan
reinstall the carpet over the material
no adhesive is necessary under the carpet and in other applications spray adhesive can be used. The material is waterproof and resistant to oils and moisture.
