Dynamat Xtreme Trunk Kit is a vibration damping kit designed specifically for the treatment of the trunk and rear surfaces of the vehicle. It uses Dynamat Xtreme technology based on butyl and aluminum to reduce vibrations, resonances and structural noise generated by driving or high-power sound systems.


The package includes 5 pre-sized sheets designed to effectively treat the main trunk surfaces, improving acoustic comfort and the behavior of metal panels.

Installation

Recommended procedure:

  • thoroughly clean the surface
  • remove dust, moisture and grease
  • cut or shape the material
  • apply following ribs and curves
  • press with roller to eliminate air bubbles

To improve adhesion and workability, an application temperature above 15°C is recommended. To achieve maximum effectiveness it is recommended to treat the surfaces most subject to vibration, in particular the floor and tailgate.
