The Dynamat Xtreme Mega Pak is a high-coverage kit designed for complete vibration damping interventions on vehicles and extended surfaces. Based on Dynamat Xtreme technology, the kit includes large-format sheets to effectively treat doors, floor pans, trunks and structural panels. It is a solution suitable for advanced installations where it is necessary to cover large surfaces while maintaining continuity and uniformity of the material.

How vibration damping material works and what it is for

Vibrations of metal surfaces generate structural noise and resonances that propagate inside the cabin. Dynamat Xtreme uses CLD technology (Constrained Layer Damping):

  • high-density butyl layer
  • aluminum containment foil
  • high-strength adhesive

The material converts vibrational energy into heat, reducing the ability of surfaces to enter resonance. This allows you to:

  • reduce road noise and vibrations
  • improve the rigidity of treated surfaces
  • optimize the acoustic response of the audio system
  • When to use it, where to apply it and how to install it

The Mega Pak is designed for large-scale interventions. Typical applications:

Installation

The material is supplied in large-format sheets, to be adapted to the surface. Procedure:

  1. clean the surface thoroughly
  2. cut the sheet into the desired shape
  3. remove the protective film
  4. apply the material following the geometry of the surface
  5. press with roller to ensure uniform adhesion

To achieve optimal performance, it is important to ensure continuity in coverage and correct pressure of the material.
