The Dynamat Xtreme Tech Pack is a vibration-damping sheet kit designed for medium-scale interventions on vehicles and metal structures. It reduces resonances and vibrations of rigid surfaces, improving acoustic comfort and overall audio system performance. The format is designed to offer a balanced amount of material for targeted treatments without oversizing the intervention.

How vibration-damping material works and what it is used for

Metal surfaces on a vehicle tend to vibrate in response to mechanical or acoustic stress, generating structural noise and unwanted resonances. Dynamat Xtreme Tech Pack addresses this phenomenon through a layer of elastomeric butyl coupled with an aluminum foil. The material:

  • dampens sheet metal vibrations
  • reduces resonances of hollow surfaces
  • decreases structural noise transmission

This makes it possible to achieve a quieter environment and better acoustic definition inside. In the automotive field, panel vibrations at high speeds can contribute significantly to perceived noise and loss of audio system dynamics.

When to use it, where to apply vibration-damping sheets and how to install it

The Tech Pack is designed for medium-scale interventions on complete or partial vehicles.
Typical applications:

  • doors
  • floor pan
  • roof
  • trunk
  • side panels
  • internal metal surfaces

It is recommended when you want to treat an entire cabin or a significant part of the vehicle without resorting to more extensive kits.

Installation

The material must be adapted and positioned before removing the adhesive liner.
Correct procedure:

  1. thoroughly clean the surface of dust, grease and moisture
  2. cut the sheet to size
  3. position it following the surface ribs
  4. remove the protective film
  5. press with a roller to eliminate air bubbles

For optimal performance:

  • application is recommended in room temperature or higher conditions, to facilitate material workability
  • moderate heating of the material can improve conformability on complex surfaces
  • using a roller helps eliminate any air bubbles

The Tech Pack includes 7 sheets 18" x 32", equivalent to approximately 2.6 m² of material. This quantity is generally sufficient for:

  • complete treatment of 2–4 doors
  • or combination between doors and trunk
  • or intervention on multiple distributed areas of the cabin

Dynamat Xtreme Tech Pack represents an intermediate solution for treating structural vibrations in vehicles. It is designed to offer a balance between coverage and application precision, making it suitable for complete but not extreme interventions.
