Hertz CS 300 S2 Subwoofer 30 cm (12") 2 Ohm Cento Series

The Cento line subwoofer is the result of the Hertz research and development team, always at the forefront in the search for innovative solutions, to obtain very powerful bass frequencies from ultra-compact sealed enclosures. By optimizing all electroacoustic parameters with the objective of achieving high performance with boxes starting from 32 liters. The single coil configuration at 2Ω offers maximum compatibility with any type of amplification and an enclosure that can house more than one subwoofer.

The reduced depth, compact magnetic assembly and absence of a rear decompression port allow the box to be shaped around the subwoofer, achieving a depth close to that of the speaker for maximum freedom of installation in any type of car. The special six-layer coil cooling system keeps the operating temperature within an optimal range even during extended listening sessions at high sound pressure. An innovative dynamic fluid optimization system and turbulence reduction, achieved thanks to the spider support that acts as an air duct towards the ventilation holes on the basket, drastically reduces the acoustic distortions generated by air compression during high excursions.


The terminal block uses solid push connectors that accept cables up to 8 AWG to offer maximum ease of connection even in installations with multiple subwoofers. The subwoofer is also equipped with an elegant high-strength ABS plastic gasket that allows you to secure the grille to complete the installation. The optional CG 300 grille in sturdy black metal mesh offers complete protection for the subwoofer and an attractive appearance thanks to the Hertz diamond aluminum logo for better integration in the car. With Cento subwoofers, even the youngest enthusiasts will be able to enjoy exciting reproduction of low frequencies in the car.
