The Hertz CS 200 S4 subwoofer from the Cento series is able to deliver powerful bass from compact sealed enclosures, starting from 9.6 l (0.33 CF). The reduced depth, the compact magnetic assembly, and the absence of a rear decompression port, allow you to shape the enclosure around the subwoofer, achieving a depth almost equal to that of the driver itself, for maximum installation freedom on any type of vehicle.

The special cooling system of the mobile voice coil with six layers maintains the operating temperature within the optimal range, even in case of prolonged listening sessions at high sound pressure. An innovative system for dynamic optimization of the fluid and reduction of turbulence has been developed, thanks to the spider support that acts as an air duct towards the vents on the basket. This drastically reduces the acoustic distortions generated by air compression at high excursions.

The cone geometry, suspension and spider have been optimized through FEM (Finite Element Method) simulations to achieve the best performance configuration, which guarantees control and low distortion even at high mechanical excursions of the mobile assembly. The terminal strip uses solid pressure connectors that accept cables up to 8 AWG to provide low wiring resistance and maximum ease of connection, even in installations with multiple subwoofers.

The subwoofer is also equipped with an elegant high-strength ABS plastic gasket that allows you to fix the grille to complete the installation. The optional grille in sturdy black metal mesh offers complete protection for the subwoofer and an attractive appearance, thanks to the Hertz Diamond logo in aluminum.
