The Ci5 W165FM-S3 midbass is a true jack-of-all-trades within the COMPOSE platform. Thanks to its carefully engineered acoustic design, it adapts effortlessly to both classic two-way configurations and more complex three-way configurations. A key element of this versatility is the precisely engineered phase plug, which not only reduces mechanical compression and promotes more uniform sound dispersion, but also significantly improves impulse response in the mid-high range. Color-matched to the dome of the Ci5 T25FM-CA tweeter, it creates a visually coherent pairing - ideal for systems where sonic excellence and aesthetic harmony go hand in hand. The paper cone, lightweight yet exceptionally rigid, features a high-quality silicone coating that provides excellent damping and great structural stability, effectively suppressing unwanted resonances. The result is a speaker that excels in every area: precision, dynamics and a clear focus on musical expressiveness.
