It is with great enthusiasm that DD Audio presents the 18" ESP sub, the most recent and largest addition to the Evolution Subwoofer line.

Evolution is not so much a goal as it is a process; one that generally occurs on imperceptible levels, over countless generations, without the guidance of unnatural forces. There are, however, exceptions in which scientists predispose natural influences and break the natural order to force evolution where necessary. As for the future of sound, DD Audio's finest engineers are pushing such an evolution on their already superb designs, in the form of the Evolution subwoofer line. Each ESP sub is a performance and resilience upgrade like no other.

Since its release in 2014, the ESP line has been a game changer, thanks to features and components such as:

- Carbon Fiber Blend Cone (CFB) - The CFB composition employs a powerful carbon fiber-based mix to give you the highest strength/weight ratio of any cellulose cone.

- Vario-density Extended Range Of Motion Surround (V-ROM) - Offers maximum linear control at high excursion while allowing dynamic sounding bass reproduction. Control ribs are compressed to a lower density than the main surround body to enable a continuously variable control system. The more you push it the more control you get.

- Tuned Spider System (TSS) - Each suspension is tuned for specific performance traits, e.g. High definition, power handling, X-Stiff control.

- Super Frame (SFrame) - Maximizes spider diameter, cone diameter, suspension excursion, acts as a secondary short circuit ring and provides additional heat dissipation for better heat flow from the voice coil.
