AV K5 Features:

Tweeter

  • 1 Soft Tetolon® dome, a combination of silk and cotton with an exclusive damping treatment, offers very low mass and a response free from resonances up to ultrasonic frequencies.
  • 2 Voice coil in CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminium Wire) wound on double layer, extremely light and compact, for maximum efficiency and dynamic, contrasting sound.
  • 3 The ring geometry of the rear damping chamber, together with the exclusive internal sound-absorbing material, extends the frequency response to the lower limits and reduces harmonic distortion.
  • 4 High flux density REN® neodymium, for maximum transduction efficiency and dynamic, detailed sound.

  • 1 The aerodynamic profile of the spokes and the "open-air" design of the basket ensure a drastic reduction of the rear reflections of the cone.
  • 2 The exclusive "Triple Wave" profile of the butyl rubber surround offers maximum stroke linearity and high reliability under extreme conditions.
  • 3 Voice coil in CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminium Wire) wound on double layer, extremely light and compact, for maximum efficiency and dynamic, contrasting sound.
