The Audison Voce AV 1.1 II tweeter demonstrates its engineering ability by obtaining Hi-Res Audio certification, a remarkable achievement for a tweeter with a soft Tetolon dome. Tetolon was chosen specifically for its superb sound timbre, which allows the tweeter to extend its frequency response to 40 kHz. High-resolution audio

The Audison AV 1.1 II tweeter was developed with a no-compromise approach, with the goal of achieving maximum performance in high-frequency reproduction. Every detail, from the materials used to the geometry of the magnetic group, was carefully studied to achieve exceptional acoustic performance, ensuring detailed and accurate sound reproduction even in the most difficult listening conditions.

Beyond sound quality, the tweeters in the VOCE II line feature distinctive design elements, including an elegant mesh grille and a textured ray grille with customized texture for a refined and modern look. Additionally, each component includes a complete set of accessories, which facilitates the installation process and ensures a perfect fit to any vehicle.

Obtaining Hi-Res Audio certification with a soft dome tweeter has been a real challenge. Many tweeters obtain certification using rigid dome materials, which make it easier to achieve the required high-frequency performance.

The AV 1.1 II uses a larger chamber, which improves impedance and damping characteristics and provides a resonance frequency of 900 Hz. This allows for an even lower crossover frequency "transition" to the AV 6.5 P II woofer. Installed in the car door, the midwoofer struggles to reach the upper midrange and most tweeters fail to sound low enough to bridge the gap. The AV 1.1 II sounds more than an octave lower than other tweeters in its category!

AIF Technology

AIF (Any Install Faceplate) technology ensures extraordinary flexibility for OEM integration, offering two different types of faceplates to fit any installation scenario:

  1. OEM: ideal for positioning in pre-installation.
  2. Mesh grille: designed for the best compromise between protection and performance, ideal for pillar installations.
  3. Ray grille: optimized to achieve maximum acoustic performance, perfect for pillar installations
