STEG ASY-8 subwoofer 200mm 1x4 Ohm 1x300 Watt RMS

ASY-8 subwoofer, 20 cm (8 inch) cone, a reinforced suspension system with dual-layer progressive spiders maintains consistent performance over time, especially in the heavy-duty use typical of Bass Wars events.

Heat dissipation is fundamental for this type of use and has been maximized through careful design. The use of a robust 75 mm (3 inch) dual winding voice coil (2 + 2 Ω) developed in a 4-layer configuration on a support with ventilation holes allows the ASY-8 to handle peak power of 600 W. The basket has been designed for optimal heat dissipation and high mechanical resistance.

The uncompressed paper cone with the addition of cotton fiber is the ideal compromise between rigidity and lightness, essential for a high sensitivity value. Suspensions and cables are oversized to withstand the very high excursions generated by the massive ferrite motor.

Push connectors accept cables with section up to 12 AWG, for practical and secure connection, suitable for the high currents involved.
