Audio System ASS-12 Subwoofer 320mm 2x2 Ohm - Power 2x1000 Watt RMS

The ASS-12 subwoofers with a 32 cm (12 inch) cone can't wait to thrill enthusiasts with their power. The reinforced suspension system with dual-layer progressive spiders maintains consistent performance over time, especially in the heavy use typical of Bass Wars events. Heat dissipation is crucial for this type of use and has been maximized through careful design. The use of a robust 75 mm (3 inch) dual-wound voice coil (2 + 2 Ω) developed in a 4-layer configuration on a support with ventilation holes allows the ASS-12 to handle the impressive peak power of 3000 W.

The basket has been designed for optimal heat dissipation and high mechanical resistance. The cone in uncompressed paper with the addition of cotton fiber is the ideal compromise between rigidity and lightness, essential for a high sensitivity value. Suspensions and cables are oversized to withstand the very high excursions generated by the massive ferrite motor. The push connectors accept cables with a cross-section up to 12 AWG, for practical and safe connection, suitable for the high currents involved.
