Audison APBX 8 AS active 8" subwoofer in compact sealed enclosure, with dedicated high-performance Class D amplification module. Remote control HRC AP included in the package, perfect for adjusting the output level directly from the driver's seat.

APBX 8 AS features an amplification module with 250W RMS power, and is developed with he-li technology (high efficiency / low impedance), which thanks to the absence of the DC-DC voltage multiplier achieves the impressive efficiency level of 90%, very close to the theoretical limit of Class D.

The absence of the voltage multiplier was made possible thanks to the development of new dual voice coil drivers, which inherit the technology of Prima subwoofers, to which an ultra-low impedance was added. This characteristic maximizes the combination between amplifier and speakers, to achieve low, powerful and clear frequencies.

2S² design (2 sides / 2 sounds), offers the choice between Down-Firing positioning to increase low frequency extension and Up-Firing installation to obtain more punch and definition.

The high-level speaker input on the connector facilitates integration with OEM audio systems while the low-level RCA input is dedicated to connection with aftermarket sources. The ART (Automatic Remote Turn-On) function for automatic turn-on and turn-off of the subwoofer can be configured to be controlled by the vehicle's on-board source, by voltage variation on the high-level input, or by audio signal on both inputs. Complete with phase control (0 - 180 °).

The SSP (Sub Smart Plug) terminal block is equipped with a single Plug & Play connector to disconnect the box easily and safely.
