Automatic calibration

The DSP-IV series processors (with the exception of ADSP-Z12 IV-10A and ADSP-Z16 IV-12A) offer automatic calibration for equalization, phase and signal delay, when you add the optional calibrated tuning microphone. You can choose which function or functions you want the system to calibrate and choose which channels to include in the calibration. In the Graph area you can see what the system is doing by observing the speaker curves and/or equalization curves, and you can turn the target curve on or off. Calibration of all channels for all functions can be performed automatically in 5-10 minutes, which otherwise could take several hours.

Of course the human ear will always be the final judge, but automatic tuning allows you to make only the final adjustments and sit back and enjoy the music.
