Zapco ST-2000XM II single channel Class D amplifier

All Class D amplifiers in the ST-XM series are stable at 1 Ohm and capable of delivering power to a 2 Ω load for the most efficient use of current and is also better for sound quality. Here is what all the new ST-XM amplifiers share:

Zapco ST-2000XM II main features

Remote Dash Control: all ST-X amplifiers are equipped with a remote control so you can instantly change the bass output as needed.

Input Sensitivity (Gain) Control: sets the sensitivity from 200mV to over 5 volts.

Mono Bridge Out and Bridge In: allow bridging of two amplifiers together (Strapping). When the Bridge Out RCA from the main amplifier is connected to the Bridge RCA In of the slave amplifier, the main amplifier (out) will have priority for control. At that point you will make all adjustments only on the main amplifier and they will be duplicated on the slave amplifier.

Low Pass Crossover: intended only as bass amplifiers, all ST-XM amplifiers have a variable full-time low pass crossover from 40 to 180Hz.

Sub Sonic Filter (HP): reproduction of frequencies below those you want to hear wasting amplifier power. The Sub Sonic filter helps save that energy for the frequencies you want to hear. More importantly, attempting to reproduce frequencies below the woofer range can quickly destroy the woofer. This is particularly important for ported enclosures. For example, if your enclosure is ported to 40 Hz, you need to set Sub Sonic to 40 Hz to protect your subwoofer.

Bass Boost Control: Zapco ST-2000XM II have variable bass boost. You can vary the amount of bass amplification from 0 dB to 12 dB as required for your specific installation.

Bass Frequency Control: no two vehicles are the same. The bass response of a woofer will be different in every vehicle you put it in, so a bass boost at 50Hz may be great for one vehicle but useless in another. The ST-X bass frequency control allows you to set bass amplification at any frequency from 30Hz to 80Hz, so you can set it precisely to match your music to your vehicle.

Phase Control: tilting the bass cabinet toward the front will sound different than the rear. In either case, changing the phase of the woofers will also make a difference. The problem is you won't know which is best until the system is installed. So you can listen to each mode to see how the bass sounds best. Phase control on ST-XM amplifiers allows you to adjust the phase of the signal directly on the amplifier. Also, ST-XM phase control is variable from 0° to 180° so you can dial in exactly the phase relationship that works best in your vehicle.
