In building the DSP-Z16V and other Zapco fifth-generation digital processors, the best high-end components were used with ADC or DAC, programming the DSP chips to accept any number of high-end components, in order to offer the most fanatical audiophiles the ability to easily customize the units based on their personal tastes.

HDSP processors can be upgraded with two DACs.
