IRRP Power SupplyThe D1200 model includes an Independent Rail Regulating Power (IRRP) power supply. This structure separately regulates the exchange of positive and negative voltage, unlike most amplifiers which regulate only the positive exchange alone. The negative exchange could become unstable during a critical SPL moment, resulting in a loss of overall performance; the IRRP generator converts the power, so you can rely on reliable power when you need it.



The DAP circuit also includes a protection circuit (DAP: Dynamic Amplifier Protection) that adapts to the level of the output signal. The result is a level of protection that adapts to the operating conditions of the moment. Again the DAP gives you extra reliability, even when the output signal level is higher.

The highly efficient Class D is also part of the PRS-D1200SPL amplifier design. This ensures lower current for lower heat, without distortion, for a sound that is always pure, clear and crystalline.
