The PP50 DSP was created to provide a solution for all music enthusiasts in the car who do not want, or cannot, replace the original source and/or modify the interior of their vehicle to accommodate a sophisticated hi-fi system but still wish to enjoy correct and enjoyable sound reproduction, characterized by a true soundstage and coherent timbre.

This amplifier has 4 channels of 35 Watts RMS (4 ohm) dedicated to driving the front and rear speakers, as well as 4 channels of 40 Watts RMS (2 ohm) dedicated exclusively to the subwoofer.

A powerful 56-bit DSP operates on all channels, which provides total control of active filtering, equalization and time alignment parameters. Adjustments can be made through a battery of 20 dip-switches for simplified adjustments, or through a computer using the optional helix-usbi programmer, thanks to which it is possible to fine-tune all aspects of the tuning.

Functions performed:

Picks up the amplified signal from the original source (but it can just as well be a standard aftermarket model) through the PP-ISO2 cable.
Converts the amplified (analog) signal into a digital signal
Performs signal processing (electronic crossover, equalizer, time alignment)
Converts the appropriately processed digital signal back into analog format
Amplifies the obtained signal driving the front, rear speakers and the subwoofer, which can remain the original ones or be replaced with more high-performance models. The resulting sound will finally be definable as hi-fi, thanks to the correct filtering of the speakers (thanks to the active crossover) which will finally be able to reproduce a naturally appealing sound (thanks to the equalizer) and a true soundstage (thanks to time alignment) that will literally make the speakers disappear (it will be extremely difficult to distinguish their positioning) to leave space only for a new sound stage: every instrument and every artist will occupy the exact space where they were during the recording, that is, music... as it should be.

Possibility of storing 2 different tunings, recallable through a dedicated button on the amplifier chassis or via Bluetooth control using a smartphone (function available soon).
Possibility of downloading 2 tunings previously saved on PC via microSD Card
Auxiliary input, which can be used to connect portable navigators or Bluetooth hands-free kits (the input sensitivity is adjustable) input switching is automatic: when a signal is present the PP 50 DSP automatically switches from the original source to the auxiliary source.
