New Reference Output Stage - Very Wide Frequency Response
The exceptional frequency response of the PDX-F6, one of the best available for products in this category, is comparable to professional use products. 5Hz-100kHz for 4ch, 5Hz-400Hz for Mono (+0,-3dB)

Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) vs Frequency
The new PDX amplifiers are not ordinary class-D amplifiers. Traditionally, class D amplifiers are not used for high frequency reproduction. The PDX series is the first series of class-D amplifiers that can reproduce the full range of audio frequencies. The PDX-M12, PDX-M6, PDX-F6 and PDX-F4 are synonymous with high frequency reproduction. The THD is actually better at high frequencies, with a consequent clean and clear signal, where the ear is more sensitive to distortion. - <0.005% THD + N @ 1W, <0.05% THD + N @ rated power.

Signal to Noise
These amplifiers have an S/N ratio up to 95dB S/N @ 1W, 122dB S/N at rated power while maintaining clean and clear sound. Forget unwanted background noise or static. PDX amplifiers deliver crystalline sound for every song played.

Damping Factor
With ultra-low output impedance, PDX amplifiers have ultra precise control of bass for unprecedented sound quality. The ratings are > 1000 for Mono and > 500 for 4 channels.

Extreme Output Power
Enhanced Power Supply
The new power supply section of PDX amplifiers has been refined to ensure low distortion and noise. system efficiency ~80% (power supply is rated at >90%, output stage is rated >90%).

Power Management Controller
Alpine PDX amplifiers incorporate the new Power Management circuit. The Power Management Processor controls all aspects of amplifier performance, monitoring voltage, temperature and output to ensure uninterrupted power delivery for non-stop listening.
If the amplifier becomes too hot, the thermal protection circuit gradually decreases the output power until it cools down. Once the temperature returns to normal, the power automatically increases to the previous level. If the circuit detects a low battery condition, it will progressively decrease the output power, when the voltage returns to normal the power will be restored. This seamless design allows non-stop entertainment without hiccup or drop-out.

Stable at Low Impedances
These amplifiers are stable at low impedances and are capable of their rated power at 2-4 ohms for all models. This allows high flexibility with multiple speakers and subwoofers and is automatically adjusted.

Birth Certificate, Guaranteed!
Each PDX amplifier comes with its own birth certificate. PDX amplifiers are tested and documented to demonstrate their actual output power.
Application Flexibility

Rack Mounting System
The new PDX series amplifiers are 20% thinner than previous models, with only 2" of thickness. The new stacking system of the finals allows you to have no spaces between the amplifiers and therefore not waste space in the trunk. The cooling system has also been designed for use with multiple amplifiers.

Speaker Terminals
The speaker terminals allow the use of 10 mm² cables and have a unique design, for insertion or simply disconnecting speakers without the possibility of error.

Power Connector
The new removable power connector has very low resistance and accepts 25 mm² cables, to always guarantee the power necessary for amplification and to simplify installation.

Bass Remote Control (RUX-KNOB) (MONO ONLY)
By simply adding the RUX-KNOB (sold separately) you will have complete control of subwoofer levels directly from the driver's seat.

A Personal Touch
The trim frame of the amplifiers is simply removable, so you can customize it. Authorized Alpine installers can offer you modifications to personalize the aesthetics to your taste.
