Alpine PDP-E800DSP 8-channel digital amplifier with integrated DSP processor

Thanks to its versatility and numerous connection options, the PDP-E800DSP allows you to improve the sound quality inside many vehicles, where it may not be possible to replace the factory source.

The Alpine PDP-E800DSP is equipped with 6 input channels (both pre-amp and speaker level), as well as up to 8 fully configurable output channels that allow a wide range of applications and great flexibility. Fine-tune your sound with a professional 240-band parametric equalizer, 8-channel digital time correction and 8-channel digital crossover.

For system configuration, you can use the Alpine software for PC to connect wirelessly or via USB to the PDP-E800DSP. The software, very intuitive and easy to use, provides full control over all settings and displays all data in a very attractive graphical interface.

The free "Alpine Remote Control" application for PDP-E800DSP (available for both Android and iPhone) allows you to control your DSP amplifier while on the move and includes the most important functions, such as master-volume, subwoofer level, source selection, preset recall and more. PDP-E800DSP is the perfect solution especially for OEM (original) system upgrades, where the factory radio cannot be replaced by an aftermarket solution to achieve better sound. The Alpine DSP amplifier simply adds to the existing OEM system, allowing you to build any audio system around the
factory system.

240-Band Parametric Equalizer & X-Over
The parametric equalizer is very easy to use: the 30 bands per channel can be simply adjusted with sliders, in real time. The display provides visual feedback of the adjustments. It is also possible to set the digital X-Over for all 8 channels separately (HP, LP, BP 6/12/18/24dB/30dB, filter type Butterworth, Bessel, Chebyshev selectable). Phase inversion (0,180) is also possible.

8-Channel Digital Time Correction
Use the graphical user interface to separately adjust the time delay for each speaker / channel. You can adjust the delay in cm, inches or ms. You can also delay entire groups of channels.

Analog Routing
With this tool you can assign an input channel to a specific output channel (in percentage). This allows you, for example, to create a center channel from 2 front channels.

Source Level Adjustment
You can adjust the gain of each analog input from -15 dB to 0 dB to achieve the perfect input sensitivity of the source.

The PDP-E800DSP is extremely versatile and flexible - it can be added to any factory or aftermarket entertainment system to provide the desired audio system. Connect the DSP amplifier to your factory system through the 6-channel speaker inputs with remote sense, or alternatively use the 6-channel preamplifier inputs (RCA). There is also an optical input (max 24 bit / 96kHz) for connecting additional sources.

1) Multiple Sound Adjustment Options
With the Alpine DSP amplifier, you can achieve professional audio tuning: a 240-band parametric equalizer (30 bands per channel) allows you to adjust the sound in great detail. 8-channel digital time correction and 8-channel digital crossover are also available for perfect channel configuration. For example, you can sum the output channels to create a center channel signal.

2) Wireless System Control
Download the Alpine Remote Control app for your iPhone or Android smartphone to control all main functions while driving: select input sources, adjust the system master volume and subwoofer level, select sound presets and more - there's also a day and night mode. The app is free to download from the Google Play Store or Apple's App Store.

3) Wireless Audio Playback
If you are using an Android phone, you can use the micro USB connection on Alpine PDP-E800DSP to transfer and play lossless audio files at full bandwidth. You can also connect your phone to the DSP amplifier via WiFi (the wireless module is included in the PDP-E800DSP). We recommend using the USB Audio Player Pro app for Android.

4) Class D Technology
The Alpine DSP amplifier uses Alpine Class-D amplifier technology. This means that the analog input signal is converted to digital and remains completely digital throughout the processing and amplification phase. With Class D technology, an amplifier can achieve high-level performance thanks to limited heat dissipation. This is also due to the reduced and compact size of the product which can be installed anywhere in the vehicle (205mm x 150mm x 50mm).

5) Compatible with Start-Stop Engines
The PDP-E800DSP will remain fully operational if your car has the start-stop function - which means the system will not turn off when you stop at an intersection or in a stop-and-go situation.

6) Create Your Speaker System
You can configure the 8 output channels according to your needs. Each channel delivers 100 Watt @ 4 Ohm (but limited to 700 Watt) and can be configured to be used as a tweeter, midrange, center or woofer channel. You can also use two channels in parallel for a powerful 200 Watt subwoofer channel. The PDP-E800DSP includes digital xovers, so you don't need to worry about installing passive xovers. With a frequency response range of 20Hz to 22kHz for all channels, you can create virtually any system you can think of.
