Match M 2FX2-channel Class GD micro amplifier

A very small amplifier, but with big ambitions. M 2FX combines compact size with great power and maximum versatility.

Equipped with an active crossover with highpass and lowpass, stereo and high-level inputs with ADEP circuit, M 2FX works perfectly with both speaker systems and subwoofers.

Thanks to its load stability, M 2FX is particularly suitable for driving subwoofers with 2 x 2 Ohms impedance.

The proprietary Class GD technology combines excellent sound quality with extraordinary high efficiency. Thanks to its minimal dimensions, its low heat dissipation and unprecedented space savings, M 2FX makes it possible to realize new systems with dimensions that were previously impossible.

M 2FX is also used in combination with the five-channel Helix amplifier M 5DSP.

Class GD Amplification

Fischers Audiotec technology has realized Class GD which combines the advantages of Class G with the fundamental principle of a Class D amplifier. The result is an exceptional high efficiency that exceeds conventional Class D amplifiers. By varying the internal supply voltage depending on the amplifier's input signals, overall efficiency is close to maximum at all times. Thus heat dissipation is almost negligible, allowing for internal circuitry with small heat sinks that enable space savings.

Intelligent High Level Input

The latest generation of OE car radios incorporates sophisticated possibilities for diagnosing connected speakers. With the amplifier connected, error messages and loss of specific features (for example fader function) appear very often - but not with the M 2FX. The new ADEP circuit (Advanced Error Protection Diagnostics) avoids all these problems without burdening the OE radio speaker outputs at high volumes unnecessarily.

The switched power supply of the M 2FX ensures operation even if the battery voltage drops to 6 Volts during engine start.
