Superior sound quality,
The dual power supply present in the 2160 Rx with a single circuit, allows stable performance in every condition. A heat sink controlled by a thermostat via a fan placed in the center of the motherboard, right next to the power section at progressive speed keeps all parts running at the optimal temperature (so in active mode to modify its intervention based on the temperatures reached inside the amplifier). Focal engineers have defined an extremely direct and linear signal path of the input circuits, so the music makes its way through the amplifier with maximum fidelity, sound quality and minimal noise interference.
Directly in the design phase, two ports were inserted in the connections area to connect two super-caps, calibrated and studied in parallel with the amplifiers, to significantly increase their dynamic performance. In fact the FPS 2160 Rx goes from 18,800 microF by default up to a capacity of 42,500 microF.

Plug-in capacitors

A pair of external capacitors connect directly to the amplifier, attenuating any voltage spikes caused by sudden system requirements, in order to allow maximum timbral coherence. The FPS 2160 Rx amplifier is able to accept two High Cap modules, one for each power supply section, being a dual mono final.
